1910 Chase Mail Truck 12/27/18

We gave the red trim a second coat of red paint.(See photo)
We were able to coat most of the underside of the truck with the sprayer. The areas we could not reach with the sprayer will be brush painted next Thursday.
We removed the trim tape, and encountered some areas where the tape removed the black paint. We will touch up those areas next Thursday, as well.
The truck, over all, looks really good(see photos).
Once we finish the final touch up and the painting of the underside of the truck, the pin striping will be applied to the spokes of the wheels, the tire black will be applied to the rubber on the wheels, and the horn and lantern lights will be reattached.
At that point, the truck should be ready to be put on exhibit. We estimate that the truck Will be complete the second week of January 2019.
