Our T33A was built 1952 by Lockheed Aircraft Company. The T-33, designed for pilot training, was based on the Lockheed P-80. The fuselage was lengthened to allow a second seat, instrumentation and flight controls.
The initial T33 flight was on 22 March 1948. The U.S. Air Force and U.S. Navy both used the aircraft as an advanced trainer until the late 1960's. The T-33 has served with over 30 nations.
